Holden is an Australian brand of automobiles that was founded in 1856 as a saddlery business. The company began building cars in the late 1800s and went on to become one of Australia's most iconic car brands. Some of Holden's most well-known models include the Commodore, the Cruze, and the Kingswood. Holden has a long history of producing vehicles locally in Australia, but in recent years the company has struggled financially and in 2017, General Motors announced that it will stop the production and sales of vehicles under the Holden brand.
